In The Sims 2 or later on, any Sim with character data tin can be brought dorsum to life. The process of bringing a Sim back to life is known as resurrection.

Resurrect-O-Nomitron [ ]

This section describes features that are only available in The Sims 2: Academy.

Sometimes, a pre-made deceased Sim will be resurrectable, but will accept no playable relatives, descendants, or acquaintances.
